Nashville, TN offers one of the most unique and valuable experiences for aspiring songwriters as well as singers.
“Open Mic Writer’s Nights” are offered at many of the venues around town, giving artists and songwriters the opportunity to sing on stage in front of a live audience. It’s a wonderful way to measure how well the public receives their original songs, plus it’s great way to perform in front of new people, and to polish and perfect their stage presence, and vocal skills.
Recently, I invited a few artists to sing at my Artist Development Network (ADN) “Writer’s Round”. It was hosted by a sweet friend, Debi Champion at the COMMODORE GRILLE on West End in Nashville, at the Holiday Inn. The COMMODORE is a classy bar and restaurant, with really great food, reasonable prices, wonderful service, and it has a beautiful atmosphere. There are always a lot of people in the audience and they enjoy listening to great music while they are dining.

Each of my artists sang 3 original songs in our Artist Development writers in the round… Shannon Grace (originally from New Jersey) sang a couple of her Pop/Country songs as did artist Lauren Riley (from Arizona). Stephanie De Wolfe (from Oklahoma) sang traditional Country style material and Sabrina Fallah (from Canada) sang a few of her Rock songs.
It was a nice variety of music, and the audience truly enjoyed the show. Here are a few pictures I took from my not so good iphone.
I also want you to hear another artist that I currently represent. She’s from Sweden and her name is Linda Marie Skoog; I love this simple acoustic video that shows off her voice and her great stage presence.
This is a sample of a full production video of Amanda Lamb. It’s one we produced in Nashville. Amanda is a talented singer and songwriter we are excited to say we just got a major management company interested in her signing with them, so congrats to Amanda! (more news about that later!)
